What’s Good – June 5th

JUNE5

Your daily dose of what’s good….

Mac DeMarco “One Another”

Lo-Fi video fun with Mac and the band.  The Song is a good time and you should listen to the new album -its great.

Benjamin Booker “Believe”

New album Witness is out now – fantastic voice, album has good cuts -its great, you should check it out, its on Spotify.

Phoenix “Goodbye Soleil”

Love the vibe of this song.  New album is out this Friday and the tracks they have released the past few weeks have been pretty good.  Looking forward to the new LP Ti Amo.

Twinsmith “Boji”

Third LP release from Twinsmith comes out of Omaha on July 14th on Saddle Creek.  Laid back single “Boji” came out today…pretty good.

Amelia Airhorn “Miracle”

This is probably my favorite track of the day…I kind of totally love it.  Amelia Airhorn is a collaboration between the Knocks and Sklyar Spencer.

Bree Tranter “Tuesday Fresh Cuts”

Australian, multi-instrumentalists.  Jazzy track, vocals are great, I like it. From the Debut Album Another Night On Earth  – which is available now.

CFCF “Italian Tip for Sam”

New Track for Canadian composer/producer Michael Silver.  This is a bit of a departure from the type of stuff he usually puts out…don’t hate it.

Anna of The North “Lovers”

First album with the same title comes out September 8th from the Norwegian (Australian?) pop duo.  Vocals and production on the single are pretty good.

Pixx “Waterslides”

Latest single from her first album on 4AD entitled Age of Anxiety which is out now. New Wave sound….New Wave look…songs okay….I am a fan of her work in general.

Vagabon “Fear & Force”

Young love in Vermont…  The song is pretty good, nice video.  Off her most recent album Infinite Worlds which you should check out.
